Welcome to ULR Canvas, a captivating collection of artistic expressions of primarily local artists. ULR Canvas is one of our signature programs designed to offer budding and seasoned artists an opportunity to display their work in a community space, providing exposure, a sales platform, and the means to become a recognized artist in our community. The Entrepreneurship and Wealth Building and Youth Education Development Divisions’ staff collectively support local artists through providing artists the resources to structure their business in a formidable way. Our Youth Education Development team ensures that art exploration is embedded in our programming for emerging artists and Entrepreneurship and Wealth Building Division provides supportive resources for budding and established artists. The program aspires to provide community members an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate the beauty credited to the talent among us.

Each piece invites the viewer to reflect on events past and present, heroes, and bright vibrant images that are certain to inspire, invigorate and impress. Visitors to our site will enjoy viewing oil paintings, acrylic, mixed media installations, pencil, charcoal, pastels, photographs, and written work with more to come.
Our Team has inspired our partners to take part in this amazing program. A special thanks to HIS Branches, Empowering People’s Independence (EPI), and Delphi Rise for displaying pieces from the Urban League of Rochester’s collection.
